Transitioning into campus life is easier when you have a solid community behind you. The CSU Student Veterans of America hosts regular bowling nights at Chipper's Lanes to give student veterans, service members, and military families a casual space to unwind, connect, and build lasting friendships outside of class.

Purpose:

  • Connection & Community: Create a welcoming, low-pressure environment for both incoming Rams and returning students to meet peers who share similar backgrounds.

  • Stress Relief & Balance: Take a break from midterms, lectures, and daily routines to enjoy a night of friendly competition and good food.

  • Peer Networking: Connect informally with chapter officers and fellow student veterans to learn about upcoming campus initiatives, mentorship, and local veteran opportunities.

Event Details & Who Can Attend

  • Location: Chipper's Lanes (Fort Collins)

  • Who’s Invited: Open to all CSU student veterans, active duty, Guard/Reserve, military dependents, and allies—no bowling skills required!

  • Cost: Lane rentals and shoe rentals are covered for attending members.
